No I think we're starting next after school, Because today we played Fluxx, which is the best game ever! And now we're blogging, so yeah I reckon we're starting next lesson.
Today we played this really awesome card game called fluxx. We watched this guy on youtube explain the rules to us and he was really excited about the game. It didn't look very fun on the instruction video but when we had a go at it ourselves we found out that it was pretty cool. My group played [only one full game which i, the master, won. It wasn't a very difficult game to learn as most of the instructions were on the cards so as long as you can read you should be fine. Anyway we didn't really want to stop playing because it was fun. So now we're blogging about what we did today and this is teletubby_crazy176 signing out.
Well, today we played Fluxx, it was an interesting and fun game. We watched how to play it on Youtube, it seemed pretty confusing and not very interesting. I found it kind of difficult until I had played it for a while and started to understand the game. I wish we had been able to play it for longer because my group was only able to play one full game. I hope we are able to play Fluxx again at future Brain Arena classes.
The aim of Brain Arena is to encourage students to use their thinking skills in ways not often encountered in the classroom. As there are many types of intelligence and even more ways to challenge them, there is no single magic bullet task that allows all gifted and talented students to shine. We attempt to cover a wide range of skills and processes during the programme, endeavouring to help students find things that they are both good at but more importantly enjoy.
